SIJ surgeons - a dedicated minority

SIJ surgeons - like spine surgeons - developed their skills based on their education in trauma, orthopedic or neurosurgery, while SI surgery was neglected by these faculties for decades. And so there are not too many surgeons in the world, who really understand the complexity of SIJ fusion surgery. SIMEG seeks to join these surgical experts for a deeper understanding and education of diagnosis, indication, anatomy, innervation, biomechanics, surgical and post surgical treatment of SIJ dysfunction.
